Why 70% off?

It's our end-of-season sale. Every season we make a limited run of each style, and when the season ends we clear what remains to make room for the next collection. Same full-grain leather, same construction: every pair is still bench-lasted by hand in Almansa and Goodyear welted. The 70% discount applies to this season's run only, while sizes last. When a size sells out, it's gone until next season.

Description

Casual oxfords.

It’s a fact that Oxfords are one of the more formal and dressy styles you can own. And, they are a wardrobe staple. Unless there is ornamentation, such as broguing, pinking or a wingtip, the Oxford’s versatility is often limited by its pedigree. However, when crafted from stunning suede, they take on an entirely different perspective. None of the classic style or sophistication has been sacrificed, just displayed in a more casual way. Now, the traditionally conservative cap-toe Oxford can be dressed down a notch, and be comfortably worn with nice chinos, relaxed trousers, jeans and some suits.

This product is made from luxurious water-repellent suede sourced from a Gold-Rated tannery based in Arzignano, Italy. Being the highest level of recognition awarded by the Leather Working Group, a Gold rating signifies the leather manufacturer meets the most stringent criteria and demonstrates a strong commitment to mitigating its environmental impact.

Fit & sizing

Finding your size

Please refer to our size guide above for the most accurate fit, or reach out to our customer experience team for detailed sizing guidance.

How your new shoes should feel

A good fit should feel snug without pinching: the heel secure with no slipping, while the toe box allows a small amount of movement. This offers better support, reduces excessive movement, and promotes proper foot placement for comfort and stability.

After a few wears, the sole and upper will gradually conform to the shape of your feet, providing an even better fit.

Care
  • Rotate between wears and insert shoe trees after use to help retain shape and minimise creasing.
  • Use a shoe horn when putting them on, and take them off by hand rather than stepping out of them, to protect the heel.
  • Once dry, wipe the upper gently with a soft brush or cloth to remove dust and surface marks.
  • Protect the upper with a product suited to its material (a leather conditioner for smooth leather, a suede/nubuck protector spray for suede or nubuck) before first wear, and refresh periodically, especially after cleaning or exposure to moisture.
  • For scuffs or marks, use a cleaner suited to the upper material and avoid harsh liquid cleaners where possible.
  • Let the sole dry at room temperature if it becomes damp and keep away from direct heat sources.
  • If you expect frequent wear in wet conditions, consider a protective sole treatment for extra grip and added longevity.
  • Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Anatomy of the Dean Oxford in Water-Repellent Suede

Anatomy of the Dean Oxford in Water-Repellent Suede

  1. 1

    Closed lacing

The facings are stitched under the vamp, the closed construction that makes an oxford the dressier shoe.

  2. 2

    Cap toe

A straight seam across the toe adds structure and keeps the front of the shoe looking sharp.

  3. 3

    Almond toe

The last is cut long and softly rounded at the tip, so the shoe looks slim without pinching your toes.

  4. 4

    Sole and heel

Kept low and cleanly finished at the edge, in proportion with the rest of the shoe.

The Dean, cut for the occasions that matter.

The Dean is a lace-up oxford in water-repellent suede. The cap toe is what gives it its character, which is why it still looks right after a few seasons.

Made for weddings, interviews and the meetings you dress up for; still fine with a knit and wool trousers. Available in Brown and Chestnut.

Upper in water-repellent suede, sourced from a Gold-Rated tannery in Arzignano, Italy, as specified for this model.

Made to be looked at closely.

Thirteen Years. Same Workshop.

Thirteen years in the same workshop in Almansa. The same benches, the same wooden lasts, the same hands. A pair takes days, not minutes, and leaves only when it is right.

Every season we make a limited run of each style. When the season ends, we clear what remains to make room for the next collection.

This season's stock is now 70% off while sizes last. When a size is gone from this run, it is gone until next season.

Shoes like these are made to be worn for years. That was always the point.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the end-of-season sale, sizing, shipping, returns and warranty.

It's our end-of-season sale. We make a limited run of each style every season and clear what remains before the next collection arrives. The 70% discount is already reflected in the price and applies while this season's sizes last. Same leather, same construction, just this season's stock.

Every product page has its own size guide with EU, UK, US and centimetre conversions for that specific last. Trace your foot, measure heel to longest toe, and match it to the table. Most of our lace-ups fit large, so we usually recommend going half a size down. If you are between sizes, message us before ordering.

Not this season. Each style is made in a limited seasonal run, so when a size sells out, it is gone until the next collection. New styles and sizes arrive with each new season.

Every pair is bench-lasted by hand in our workshop in Almansa, Spain, using full-grain leather and Goodyear welted construction. That means the sole is stitched, not glued, so the shoes can be resoled and worn for years rather than replaced.

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. We offer free worldwide shipping, with delivery typically taking 7 to 15 business days depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships.

Every pair is covered by a 1-year craftsmanship warranty on construction, stitching and sole attachment, and you have 90 days to return your order for a full refund if the fit is not right. Try them on indoors on a clean surface to keep them returnable.
